Boulder Emotional Wellness is dedicated to providing the highest quality of therapeutic services to all individuals and all relational configurations, acknowledging that heterosexual couples constitute most of our couple therapy.

In recognition of the unique dynamics and sensitivities involved in couple therapy, we have established this ethical and legal policy rooted in the Genuine Occupational Qualification (GOQ) principle. This principle allows us to tailor our internship and hiring process specifically to meet the therapeutic needs of our clients.

We require a gender diverse staff of therapists to ensure that each individual or member of a couple feels adequately represented and comfortable in the therapeutic setting.
