Anna Fernbach, MA expected 2027, Regis University
I am a counseling intern currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental
Health Counseling at Regis University. I have lived in the Boulder area for fourteen years and love spending time outdoors. My approach to therapy is integrative and draws from narrative, existential, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, trauma-informed, and spiritually informed perspectives.
I try to create a space where people feel safe enough to think honestly, speak freely, and
explore their experiences without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I believe
therapy begins with listening closely to what matters most to a person and what they long for in
their lives and relationships.
I am especially interested in working with anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, relationship
struggles, identity, life transitions, play therapy and relational estrangement. I see therapy as a
place for reflection, curiosity, honesty, collaboration, and growth. My hope is to help clients
better understand themselves, make meaning of their experiences, and move toward lives that
feel more connected and fully their own.

I bring a calm, compassionate presence to my work, helping clients navigate grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions with curiosity and care. I believe healing happens through a whole-person approach — one that honors the connection between mind, body, relationships, and lived experience. My style is gentle, grounded, and collaborative, creating a space where clients can slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with themselves.
I am passionate about helping clients build self-compassion, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop healthy boundaries. It is my honor to walk with you on your path to wellness.
Carly Sims (she/her), MA expected 2027, New York University
I am currently a student in New York University’s Mental Health and Wellness Counseling program, where I am beginning my practicum and internship experience. I earned my Masters of Divinity degree from Naropa University in 2024. Since then, I have worked full-time as a hospice chaplain and have also supported patients and families as an on-call chaplain in local hospitals.
I believe in approaching mental health and wellness holistically, honoring the connection
between body, mind, and spirit. I enjoy working with a wide range of individuals and
strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for healing and growth.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in Psychodynamic, Feminist, and Strengths-
Based theories, while also incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other skills-
based interventions. Outside of counseling, I enjoy dancing, working out, and spending
quality time with my fiancé and fur babies.
